The Laboratory of Bioregulation Chemistry studies a variety of "bioregulatory molecules" with potential applications in agrochemicals and pharmaceuticals.
Our laboratory is working on structure determination and chemical synthesis of bioactive peptides to discover new "bioregulatory molecules" from animal venoms such as scorpions and spiders. Furthermore, we are working on structure-activity relationship studies and molecular design using computer modeling to create better "bioregulatory molecules" and to elucidate their mechanisms of action.
